she's never seem them. but this has given her an open-minded perspective in life: always giving thought to new ideas or trying different things. she likes living in the moment rather than thinking too much about the future or what consequences her actions may have. the reason behind her preference to enjoy the moment is because wren can be easily-panicked. if there were to be an argument between her friends, wren would likely become extremely anxious - so much so that she might need to lay down for a bit. though, she'll wave it off with a smile if it ever does happen. this panic stems from high sensitivity. for example, if one were to reject a gift she brought, wrenfeather would be devestated. what did she do wrong? why don't they like the gift? do they just not like her? maybe she should find another gift to bring? wren doesn't know why she is like this, only that she dislikes the feeling. she's an extremist when it comes to being a good friend and doing the right thing, but the same goes for her worry. finally, as mentioned before, she is very caring. however, this has allowed her to be susceptible to... well, basically anything. she's gullible because she's eager to please. the history father • foxfire mother • willowstone siblings • robinflight(sister), kestrelwing(brother) important people • Brightfall (Mentor), overall history • before:: prior to the colony's appearance, willowstone and foxfire were simply warriors of windclan. they weren't very close, but perhaps their opposite personalities is what allowed them to slowly build a relationship. the two had grown up together, and as warriors, they spent time going on patrols and hunting. after moons of constant companionship, the icy she-cat and warm tom found themselves falling in love. but there was a problem. foxfire was set on having kits; it had been his dream to be a father. willowstone was never one to nurture. it just didn't match. but as fate would have it, willowstone eventually became pregnant. this formed a riff between the two mates. kithood:: robinkit was born first. next came wrenkit. and third came kestrelkit. while the two she-cats were very healthy, kestrelkit was a sickly tom. he spent the entirety of his kithood residing in the medicine cat den, which left robin and wren to fend for themselves. willowstone could hardly look at the kits. she didn't want them. robinkit was fine with this, instead spending her time with wrenkit and foxfire. wrenkit, however, constantly tried to prove her worth to her mother by bringing little gifts of moss and pebbles. obviously willowstone was displeased by this, but wrenkit never gave up (even if it pained her everytime). robin, although she inherited her mother's colder personality, was loyal right from the start and always tried to cheer her sister up. wren, robin, and foxfire were a very close family. foxfire was a fun father. he played games with the kits and taught them lessons. he and his daughters made sure to visit kestrelkit as much as possible, too. foxfire and willowstone did not speak to each other, and after a few moons of the kits, they officially ended their relationship. foxfire became the only parent in the kits' lives. apprenticeship:: robinpaw, wrenpaw, and kestrel...kit. kestrel was still very sick upon reaching six moons of age, and he had to watch from the sidelines as his sisters moved on. wrenpaw was given an intimidating, younger mentor named brigthfall. brightfall was tough, but wrenpaw never lost her fun and social personality. wren spent much of her training time talking off her mentor's ears! but still, the small she-cat learned a lot from the warrior. and eventually, the stoic molly began to tolerate (and maybe even enjoy) wrenpaw's presence. after two moons of training, kestrelkit finally became kestrelpaw. he had a difficult time with training, but he at least finally got to be with his sisters. the two she-cat's had their brother at last, and the duo became a trio. it was during this time that robinpaw became colder. she was loyal to her family and friends - no one else. the eldest she-cat made it her mission to prove her mother wrong. that the family was worth her time. she wanted to make their mother love them, only to tear it away; just as she had one done to the family. to show her how incredible she and her siblings were, only to deny her the eventual affection she would feel. thankfully, foxfire was able to talk her out of this new mission over the course of a moon, but robinpaw never let her hatred dull. kestrelpaw had resigned to disappointment towards their mother. what kind of cat just leaves their sickly son? he was content with his father and sisters instead. wrenpaw still tried to befriend her mother at times, though it was still met with cruelty. robinpaw (after her talk with her father) and brightfall did their best to steer wren away from willowstone, but it never truly had the effect they intended it to have. foxfire never spoke to his former mate. he just wanted to be there for his kits. warriorhood:: robinpaw was deemed robinflight, for her quick-thinking and willingness to stand up for what she believes in. wrenpaw became wrenfeather, for her speed and plumed tail. a moon after the she-cats, kestrelpaw finally became kestrelwing for his steady devotion to training. foxfire couldn't have been prouder, but willowstone continued to stay in the shadows of their life. sadly, wrenfeather was never able to reconnect with her mother or celebrate with her kin for very long. because then the colony of kittypets ventured into the territory. at first, they were harmless. wrenfeather was always friendly towards them and even defended their presence in the beginning. but they became more and more aggressive. violent, even. then windclan borders were taken. wrenfeather could feel the panic start to rise within her, but her friendly smile never faltered. until kestrelwing got sick. and then her father. and then both were gone. poof. just like that. then her smile faltered. and then her mother died in battle. finally, the smile had ceased all together. robinflight was faltering too, but they were able to rely on each other. their sisterhood would keep them safe. though, in her heart, wrenfeather wasn't completely content with this idea. she didn't want to stay in windclan. she constantly felt terrified and mourned over her losses. until firelight came back and brought hope to the clans. wren tried to convince robin to come with her, but she wasn't persuaded. robinflight would protect her home until her last breath. with a sad but loving goodbye, wrenfeather went on the journey with the guides and other cats to find a new home - a home where she could start fresh. current:: she misses her sister and family desperately, but hopes she can make them proud. and now that they have reached their new home, wrenfeather is doing her best to keep everyone smiling and happy. the role player alias • shortee pronouns • she/her other characters •none yet |
